Winter Wonderland

Wow, what an excellent weekend we had away from everything. Joe’s family treated us to a few days up north at a cabin. We really enjoyed ourselves! Thanks again for such a great time 🙂 We’ll remember it forever. And we practically were the only people there!

The Rooms

We were digging the lofted ceiling and fireplace. So homey! Everything was beautiful.

The Games

Oh the games we played. So many! We played water volleyball, dice, card games, horse races, shuffleboard, foosball,  big buck hunter and a bunch of minute-to-win-it games. And Joe won us a slew of Christmas creatures from this claw machine.

The Snow

Our early Christmas present was a pair of snowshoes each! So we took a nice little nature walk into town and burned off some of the cookies. These are going to come in handy for tromping around back home.

Dare them to make a snow angel and jump into the hot tub?
