Well, our fourth annual Friendsgiving was a great success. I’ve been full for three days straight. And there’s still a week of great eats ahead of us! I wanted to give you a quick update with some more signs I’ve been making. This is my second batch (first round of signs here) and I decided to dry a couple new styles: Freehand on chalk paint and stamping. After helping my friend Nicole with a wedding sign, I kind of fell in love with chalk paint.
I’m as surprised as you are that we’re knee deep in a basement remodel. It sort of just happened. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Thanks football season, for spurring Joe on to set up his movie screen. (Shoutout to the Vikings!) We’ve actually been dreaming this room up for, well, since we moved in. We got a head start on the bigger parts of the project this month and will probably wrap things up in the winter. We’re excited to take you guys through our big renovation!
Ok, you guys. We’re d.o.n.e. 😀 It’s been a long time coming, and we’re so excited to have our finished bathroom to come home to. We’ve been super excited to show you the results, but the process is where the real magic happens. If you’ve been following along, you know how much work it takes to DIY a bathroom remodel, but also how rewarding it is to wrap up! I’m going to unpack some more photos later because there’s so darn much to share. I’ll go into more detail with certain things then, but for now come on in!

Ideally, we’d love to have an actual mudroom or entryway some day, but for now, we are making do with the space we have. If you know us, you know we I have a lot of shoes. There’s really not a great space in our house for our shoes to live, so we’ve been keeping them in the garage.
Well, we’ve engineered a somewhat functional solution that we hope to keep improving. It’s a big improvement actually. With winter on the way, this will give us a central location for all the snow pants, jackets, hats and everything else. And it’s a step up from keeping them all in bins!
