Whether you’re snowed in for the weekend, or looking to make a last-minute gift idea, this simple craft is the perfect way to reuse those old corks you have at home. Not to mention a perfect excuse to pop open a new bottle of wine and get your craft on!
Because everybody can use a healthy dose of encouragement and fun, here are some of the signs I’ve been working on. More hand lettering, chalk board lettering, and plenty of mermaids. Check them out!
Here’s a third batch of signs I’ve made leading up to the craft show. We’ve made up a bunch of different wood treatments like you see above, so I have plenty of “canvas” options to choose from. I’m having wayyy too much fun making these. Definitely my new favorite hobby and mode of relaxation.
I started making a few signs, not thinking too much about them, for my personal stash. Then not too long ago I noticed a craft show needing vendors, so I thought, “Why not sign up?” Honestly, it was an impulsive move, but I’m kinda obsessed now and I’m super excited to finish putting my collection together. I have until late November to round up the rest of my ideas, but it’s great to have a goal with a deadline to get me in the craft zone. It’ll be the perfect time for holiday gifts. Nothing like a little personal (and now public) accountability to make it happen. Here are just a few of the signs I’ve finished already.
