Taking a little breather from the kitchen to attend alllll the baby showers. For a few years it was all the weddings, but now we’re onto the next chapter I guess! Thought I’d share some fun games and ideas for baby showers that are not awkward.
What a rollercoaster of a year. I honestly don’t feel I’m in a place yet where I can be reflective about the year, because I feel like we’re still in the thick of it. 2020 didn’t end on the best note after getting covid, slowly recovering at last after 6+ weeks for me. There are definitely things I do not wish to take into 2021 and that is one of them! It really took a lot out of me and I can’t get enough distance from it. But let’s focus on the future, not the past.
Some years we go a little overboard. Other years we keep it simple. I enjoy all forms of holiday cheer, but this year is quite a different one for us.
I know I’m late to the game, but I festivized my front porch just in time for Halloween. I didn’t put much effort into it, but started putting things out that looked fallish, one by one. Not even sure how that firewood got there… I kinda like our house colors, this time of year at least!
The time has come to plan your Halloween costume! Or if you’re like me, you’ve been putting it together since the summer. I always like to keep it a surprise every year, so you’ll just have to wait until next year to see our 2017 Halloween outfits. But here’s our last year’s costume!
