Movie Room Remodel Reveal

It’s official! We’re finished with the movie room. Or at least, finished for now. Truth be told, most of the work was done┬átowards the end of last year, but all the finishing touches took some time. Instead of posting a play-by-play like we did with the big bathroom remodel, this time around we thought it would be fun to do one big reveal.

DIY Bathroom Remodel: Full Reveal

Ok, you guys. We’re d.o.n.e. čśÇ It’s been a long time coming, and we’re so excited to have our finished bathroom to come home to. We’ve been super excited to show you the results, but the process is where the real magic happens. If you’ve been following along, you know how much work it takes to DIY a bathroom remodel, but also how rewarding it is to wrap up! I’m going to unpack some more photos later because there’s so darn much to share. I’ll go into more detail with certain things then, but for now come on in!

House Crush

Joe worked on a house a few months ago, in Stillwater MN, and we were invited to their open house for the grand reveal. It was such a beautiful place! And some of the nicest people ever. Joe did a lot of the behind-the-scenes work: installed a new furnace, reworked some dryer vents, fresh air intake, moved some duck work and some other small fixes. This house was redone from head to toe, and was stunning when it was all finished!

It will be fun to one day look back and reminisce about all the changes we’ve made to this house. Our little fixer upper is growing up so fast already. Sigh.

House Crush Header

We have a total crush on this house. Guilty as charged. Joe’s long-time family friends bought a┬árambler in St. Louis Park┬áMinnesota and completely gutted and remodeled it. The work is amazing! So much attention to detail. The 3,000 or so square foot space feels way more spacious on the inside than expected. That’s how so many rambler renovations seem to be lately. If there’s one word I could use to describe this house it’s “details”. We’ve been there a total of twice now, and took the opportunity to sneak a few pics. čśë Thanks guys!

Sun Room

Surf, Sand and Sun

Two out of three ain’t so bad for a Minnesota winter. We’re still pretty sad that Steve and Shila Bear moved out, but on the bright side, there’s a new room in Joe’s house. What was once a porch addition, because a four-season bedroom. Now it’s restored to a four-season porch! Or “sun room” as we’ve been affectionately calling it.
